Chinapac: Group Size for China Tours

How big are the tour groups?
Asia tour group sizes can range from 6–32 people for most of our popular tours. For Asia tours covering remote/rural areas of China, such as Tibet, the Silk Road or Southwest China, the tour groups are usually no larger than 10 people.

Who are the tour guides?
Larger China tours are usually led by a national guide. Your guide will meet you upon arrival in China and remain with your group throughout the whole tour. Local guides may be introduced as you visit each city. The local guides are native to each city and can provide a special kind of expertise as they take the group around their hometown for sightseeing.

What vehicles will be used for the China tour?
Our China tours use spacious, air-conditioned vehicles to accommodate extra bags and people who require additional space.

Do I have to go with a tour group?
If a group tour is not your preferred travel style, any of our tours may be arranged in a private itinerary to accommodate your China travel needs.
