Chinapac: Booking a Tour
What do I need to prepare before booking a Chinapac tour?
At the time of booking, you’ll need a photocopy of your passport. Be prepared to give the name of the tour, the departure date, and the tour code (if you know it). If you are a land-only passenger with or without an international flight, please advise your Chinapac travel agent about your trip and flight details.
What are the deposit fees for Chinapac tours?
A deposit is required within 7 days of booking. We require a $350 deposit per person for most China tour packages, and a $550 per person deposit for the Yangtze River tour packages. A second deposit of $1500 per person is due two weeks later. (Online payment is not available at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience)
How do I get schedules and flight information for my Chinapac tour?
A Chinapac agent will send you an invoice through fax or mail with details of flight schedules, your tour status, visa information and the deadline for your final payment/travel documents. We will also send you the appropriate visa application instructions upon receiving your deposit.
Should I renew my passport? What will I need it for?
Check your expiration date. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your planned return date. If you would like Chinapac International to process your China visa, you need to send us your actual passport, a passport-size picture and a completed China visa application form with payment in full no later than 45 days prior to your date of departure.
When will I receive tickets, visas and other Asia tour information?
Approximately 14 days before your departure date, you will receive electronic documents including your e-tickets, your China visa (if processed by Chinapac), a hotel and local guide contact list and anything else you might require for the tour.
