Just a quick note to say how wonderful the trip was to China. I am recommending the trip to everyone a speak to. Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful tour guide Alex was. He went above and beyond the call of duty on a number of occasions. His knowledge, and the way he presented it was super. His pride in his country came through as well. I hope you pass this information onto the appropriate people. Thanks.

Dear John,
Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. We appreciate all you did for us. We will remember the special dishes that you ordered for us at the Jade Garden. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for taking time to show us around Expo, it is much appreciated. Without your help we would be lost, as the place is so huge. Thank you for showing us how to use the Subway, and also for providing a cell phone, as it gave us confidence to be adventurous, knowing that you would be available if we were lost.
We appreciated all the tips you and Barbara gave us. Going on a week day was definitely less busy, and going a bit later, and starting at Madong Road entrance we avoided all the line ups. By, knowing how to use the subway, we were able to stay later, and appreciate the lights of Expo, which were beautiful. Also, the line ups were shorter, and we basically walked into the Canada and Brazil pavilions. (we did 12 Pavillions on Monday, in section B and C.). On Tuesday we did Section D and E , this section was very interesting. The Expo museum and Pavillion of Footprints were good.(They were big pavilions, and only 5-10min line up).

Hello Fiona,
We returned to Canada, about 10 days ago, at the end of the Yangtze Tour (with Peng You from Thunder Bay). Our international guide, Alex was excellent.
Thank you very much! And thanks very much for all your assistance along the way, Fiona. It truly was an exceptionally good tour, very well organized, planned, and delivered! I am very happy to have gone. I will never forget my time in China!

The trip we took with you was fabulous! The guides were terrific and the sights beyond belief. One could NEVER do this trip without a tour, as the driving is insane! People and cars everywhere in Beijing and Shanghai and they all want to be
where the other guy is...but despite the use of car horns, the drivers remain very calm!
The hotels were very nice and modern and the food was very good, although after 2 weeks, we were happy to reclaim American fare.
Needless to say the Great Wall, The Forbidden City, The Terra Cotta Warriors and Guilin were beyond belief! We were very pleased with all aspects of our tour with ChinaPac...Cindy Liao (of the famous Liao Dynasty, I presume...900-1000 A.D.) made things go very smoothly, especially when we through her a curve with adding on 3 days at the Beijing Hotel at the last minute.
Thank you both for a memorable and smooth experience!
We will talk ChinaPac up to all of our friends!

We have just returned from the 14 Day China & Yangtze tour. What a fabulous trip we had!!!
We were met in Beijing by a wonderful, young national guide, Cecilia, who traveled the entire trip with us. In each city we had fine local guides who took us to the highlights in their areas.
The accommodations, meals, tours and staff were exceptional. The journey on the Yangtze aboard the East King was highlighted by the scenery and tours on shore, of course, but also by the delightful crew who entertained us in the evenings. It was a relaxing few days in the midst of a busy and varied itinerary.
This tour covers everything and more, that a first time visitor to China would like to see. Highly recommend it!

Hi Jacquie…here is the note I promised you about the trip to Bali you booked for my husband Paul and myself. We were extremely happy with the service you provided. Thanks so much for answering all my questions so quickly and for handling our reservations in such a professional manner. I would be very happy to use you for any future Asia bookings.
We really enjoyed China Airlines, and everyone we spoke to in Bali who used them felt the same. Everything went on time and the flight crew were wonderful. Even the ground crew were so nice, standing beside the plane waving goodbye as the plane backed out from the gate. Very impressive.
The tours that were arranged through Panorama were great. My only complaint was that we had a couple of problems with the hotel reservation and it was due to Panorama, so I wasn’t too impressed with this part of their service. The situations got resolved but only thanks to the hotel being able to accommodate us at the last minute. It could have been very bad.
The Aston Bali is wonderful and I would highly recommend it to your clients.
Thanks again for all your hard work…we really appreciated it.

Hi Jackie:
My husband and I just returned from China on May 14, 2010 and I wanted to tell you how very much we enjoyed the tour. In fact the whole thing went without a hitch and the guides along the way were excellent. In fact the two national guides did a wonderful job. Everyday was a new adventure and when people ask what was my favourite place, I'm hard pressed to find one place. The accommodations were truly 5-star, the restaurants were palatial, and the food beautifuly served. Our baggage was carefully taken care of so that we would arrive at the various airports only an hour ahead and be presented with our boarding cards - no hassles! Value for money was incredible, we would have expected to pay double. This will not be our last trip with Chinapak. If anyone has any questions please e-mail

Hi Jacquie,
We just completed our 17 day Grand China tour plus the extra day at Shanghai Expo. It was a FABULOUS trip!! The tour guides and drivers in each location were wonderful: on-time, personable, and knowledgeable. The guides spoke excellent English. It was especially good to have local guides because they would suggest some timing changes and it made it much easier/better to do the activity. For example, in Chongqing, the guide suggested we do Dazu first and then the Zoo and in Shanghai, the tour guide suggested we do Suzhou on the Friday and then tour Shanghai on Saturday. In both cases we were able to have less traffic congestion. The activities we did were awesome. The variety of sites/activities as well as the pace were just perfect.
Chinapac was recommended to me and I have been extremely pleased. I am recommending the Grand China tour and Chinapac to my colleagues and friends.
Thanks again for all of the organization.

My wife and I have just returned and would recommend this kind of a trip to first timers to China or visitors planning a short but varied tour of China.
Not knowing what exactly to expect when we went, we came away with an eyeopening glimpse of a vibrant and changing society of a country firmly and surely ensconced in its position in the 21st century.
Our one regret; we wish we had more time when we were in Shanghai to visit the various shops in Huai Hai and Nanjing Roads.
We realise this kind of tour may not lend itself to this, as it is to expose the sights and sounds of China to the traveller. To this end, it succeeded wonderfully.
Not only was your front end person in Vancouver (Jackie) helpful, we were lucky to encounter a young man with exceptional organizational skills .Your chief tour guide, Alex, who coordinated on the ground our whole tour, was very knowledgeable and up to date. Indeed, all the local tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The accommodations were first class and the tour bus drivers were very professional and excellent drivers.
The Yangtze cruise was very, very nice.

Hello Sandy,
I know we've been back from Beijing for a while - we're just tryng to catch up on all our emails and fixing up the thousands of pictures we took along the way.
I wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you. The trip was fabulous - we were a small group, which was very nice and everyone got along very well considering we were all strangers to each other. The hotel was a little far away, but we soon learned how to get around using the subway and the taxi's. All the restaurants were nice and clean, the food good (but far, far too much of it!). Our tour guide, this time (this is my 2nd trip with chinapac) was Charlie and he did a very good job & made it fun for us. We were all his "Charlie's Angels"!
I recommend Chinapac to all my colleagues and family when they plan to go to China and other areas - I always tell them to check your websire first.
Thanks again,

Hi Sandy,
It was a very nice visit to Beijing. I enjoyed it very much. The hotel (New Otani Chang Fu Gong Hotel) was very good and in a great location where I could walk to different local neighborhoods. I greatly recommend this hotel to other tourists. Their breakfasts are always fantastic. Room service great. I told them they did not have to change my bed and towels everyday to save energy costs, so I didn't expect to see anybody coming to my room each day. But they still showed up twice a day just to give me two bottles of water and then to clean out my garbage bins.
But the key thing I would like to recommend is our local guide. Her English name is Candy. Chinese name Tao Junyan.
She was phenomenal, truly so. Her comprehension of English was 100%. Her attention to details 150%. Candy paid attention to each one of us, remembering every little thing about each of us --> and to take care of these things when needed. Phenomenal knowledge of everything from tour sites to even anything we happened to point at through the car window --> she always had an answer and a story behind each thing, sometimes even a personal story about her own experience.
A good example of her attention was when we (the tourists) were having dinner below the theatre where the Peking Opera would take place after dinner. Candy took our jackets and personally put them in the seats where we would sit in the theatre (so as to occupy the seats which were not pre-assigned) and she waited by the seats until we showed up after dinner. She did this to guarantee we would have good seats.
I had two other guides on this same tour -- one for the Hutong area and another guide for the extra day (the fourth day) which I had paid for. Both were quite good too, but it's only by comparison that I realized Candy was truly head and shoulder above, truly phenomenal. It's like watching the Olympics, each competitor looked very good too, but when the champion appeared, she outshined everyone.
This is not just my own opinion. The other two tourists who were on the same tour with me totally agreed. They even called Candy their "walking encyclopedia" and asked for her card so that they could contact her again in case they returned to Beijing. That was how much they liked her. They were not in-experienced tourists. They had been around the world, and this year had already been travelling since February through Laos, Vietnam and southern China before they arrived in Beijing. So they had had their share of tour guides. Even they were impressed by Candy.
I would greatly recommend Candy to Canadian or any English-speaking tourists.

Hi Fiona.
Just wanted to e-mail you and let you know just how much we appreciated the wonderful job Alex did guiding us throught our very enjoyable trip in China. He is without doubt the best guide we have ever had. We have had many guides over the years and he certainly stands out as the best. There were many in our group who expressed the same comment. He is very knowledgable and has the most wonderful senese of humor , which goes a long way when dealing with a varied group of people. He was very organized and just a joy to get to know. He certainly added to the enjoyment of the trip. Everything just went like clock work.

Hello Sandy and Jacqueline,
I would like to send you a special thanks for the wonderful tour we took to Taipei and Bali on February 25 - March 9! China Airlines did a fine job, and made our long journey a comfortable one. We were very impressed by both of the tour operators (Cindy in Taipei and Maddy in Bali); and the hotels you chose. I loved the Ramada Benoa in Bali; it was just like a palace from the 1920's...and I felt like royalty when staying there. The Fullon Hotel in Taipei was a nice contrast, all very modern and pleasant. The tour operators were very good and thorough, and Cindy in Taipei did an especially thoughtful job. She went out of her way to see that all our questions were answered, and that we were able to do everything we wished to do!
The Lantern Festival was a true highlight in Taiwan, and shouldn't be missed. I would also like to thank you for putting in a lot of "downtime"
in Bali; as we certainly enjoyed the time to relax and get a real feel for the Island. Some of our group took this opportunity to take an elephant ride in the mountains, and enjoyed this immensely.
In conclusion, everything went according to plan, and you did provide an outstanding experience. We shall be happy to deal with Chinapac, and send clients your way. Hope this affords a lasting relationship with your company!
With Warm Regards,

Hi,
I am writing this email to commend the work of your agent: Jacqueline Jing. Jacqueline recently helped me with a file which required ticketing many flights. To add to the challenge, the clients were flying through Vancouver during the Olympics, and some of the tickets had to be done through a local agency overseas....during the New Year holiday period! But Jacquie rose to all of these challenges! She kept in constant touch with me and and responded quickly to my many emails and phone calls. Jacquie is a talented agent who gives excellent service! I look forward to working with her again!

Hi Cindy,
Nice to be back, but sad too.
We had a great time, and our tour guide, Anna, was wonderful. She was very knowledgable about everything we visited; always on time, and very flexible about making changes if we needed to. It was great that we were the only 3 on the tour, as we didn't have to work around other people.
We had to cut the last day due to flight availability, but it all worked out as we started the tour on the first day instead of leaving it free. We saw everything on the itinerary, with a few things on top. I am very grateful to our driver, Mr Jung, as I have never seen anything like Beijing traffic!!
Thanks again for your help, and I will be reccommending you to anyone considering a similar trip.

Hello Jenny Thanks for the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to China as well as the cruise on the Yangtze River. Personally, I believe in the quality and reliability of the products ChinaPac offers. In Montreal, the largest competitor is Vacances Sinorama which offers to potential clients very alluring pricing. Although at first glance itineraries appear similar, programs offered are not identical to those offered by ChinaPac. After talking with a friend who purchased a holiday package with Vacances Sinorama, I have come to the conclusion that ChinaPac selects hotels of higher quality, especially outside Beijing and Shanghai. As well, your tour guides are exceptionnal, very professional, very experienced and have a great ease in understanding the language used by members of their tour group (hence reducing the language barrier). I also appreciated that the drinks were included with each meals....less confusion around the table. I would note that although the cabins on the ship are of a good size for a river cruise, they did not live up to the expected 5 star rating advertised when using the American 5 star standard. Overall, I am convinced that the quality of your product is a result of this attention to details and that you are in a position to guarantee us a quality product. Thank you for a memorable trip. Roland and I, hope returning to China in a near future. We wish you and your family a Happy Holidays . Also a good word for Fiona. She was of great help, always available and very patient when I needed information and when Roland needed his passport.

As promised we’ve put together a note and a brief slide show of our recent trip to China. The trip was excellent from start to finish. China is a breathtaking country and we’d highly recommend taking a tour with China Pac. We were very fortunate to be a small group of only 4 and thus we experienced an almost-private tour of Beautiful China. The weather in October was ideal – virtually no rain and the temperature was in the high teens and low 20’s. The guides in each city met us on our arrival and stayed with us virtually into the departing lounge for our next destination. All of the guides were certified by the Chinese government and they were well informed, pleasant, spoke good English and went out of their way to answer our questions and to ensure our needs were met. The accommodations in each city were 4-star plus (except Shanghai where the Rainbow Hotel had started to show its age), and the meals (and beer) were very good throughout. Travel by plane and train was as good or better than you’d experience here – China has spent a huge amount on infrastructure in the past decade and most of the transportation system including the airports and planes were very modern. Most importantly the tour was very well organized and we had no issues visiting each of the destinations promised. Each day our guide picked us up at our hotel in a minivan with a professional driver who stayed with us the entire day (and evening if there were shows or late dinners) and watched our possessions while we toured. We never had any anxiety about timing or needing to rush through either the venues or our meals and in a few instances we were able to make slight detours from our schedule to accommodate sights we’d heard about. Moreover we always felt secure and although we were often warned to be wary of pick pockets in crowded sites, we never felt threatened. Walking through the tour sites and city streets during our free days felt no different than being back home. China is a remarkable country with a rich history. During our 2-week tour we saw many highlights; every day was a new adventure and we were constantly impressed by China’s people culture and history (the slide show is a sample of the 3000-plus shots we took – a Kodak moment every corner!). Moreover the cities and building growth currently underway in China has to be seen to be appreciated. Two weeks is hardly enough time to do China justice, however we think one would be hard pressed to experience much more than we were able to do with our China Pac tour. It feels like we’ve just scratched the surface and we hope we’ll be able to return to China in the not too distant future. Many thanks for making our arrangements and recommending China Pac to us.

This trip exceeded all our expectations. Our guide, Michael, handled all details with a minimum of fuss and with great competency so that none of our group of 12 ever had a concern regarding safety or arrangements. Our local guides were enthusiastic, pleasant, and so eager to share their part of China with us. The motor-coach drivers were amazing as they navigated through chaotic masses of vehicles. They were all cheerful and helpful with baggage. The sightseeing tours allowed us a magnificent peek into the culture and history of this fascinating country. We heard so much about temples and their significance , farming, tai-chi, Buddhism, the emergence of China as a developing country-the list is endless. Hotel quality was wonderful-even the hard beds. Rooms were exceptionally clean, and the hotel staffs were always welcoming. The food was delicious-wonderful variety, always beautifully presented, always very plentiful. Lovely eating rooms in many places. Very friendly and obliging staff. With one exception (our flight arrival from Shanghai), all transfers were seamlessly handled. In Yichang, Michael quickly solved the slight problem and we continued on our merry way. How wonderful to have a guide who could think and respond quickly! The Yangtze River Cruise was marvelous. So many beautiful sights, and so much to learn about the Three Gorges Dam Project. The staff on the ship were extraordinary-polite, kind, talented, professional. But the reason why this trip was so fantastic is because of our national guide, Michael. He was unfailingly polite, patient, informative, personable, approachable, helpful, responsive to our curiosities about China, and fun as well! Chinapac has a true gem in the extraordinary young man. We loved every of this journey. We would happily return to China. We would unhesitatingly recommend Chinapac to others. And we hope in the future to book again with Chinapac.

The entire journey was so much more than we anticipated, and we want to thank Chinapac for organizing the Fam, especially, so we could be guests at the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival, 2009 in "our" Hotel, the Royale Chalun. What an honour it was to attend, and be recognized as honoured guests. On our many flights within Malaysia, we were always offered a hot meal, which was a great surprise! Excellent, inboard service by China Air and Malaysian Airlines, as well. We accomplished so much in so little time, with our very busy itinerary, and would recommend Malaysia as a safe, welcoming country to visit. The Malaysian people are so courteous, and kind, and we would highly recommend a visit to our clients who would enjoy nature and the outdoors All the tour guides were excellent, in all our stops. We came back yesterday, Oct 23rd, after a wonderful and fantastic Tour in China. We the group of fifteen (15) persons travelled in China starting from Shanghai via Suzhou and hangzhou concluding in Beijing through a wonderful tour organized by Chinapac International. The tour guides Frank Luo (Luoya Lei) and Jeff Yang were the best. They took care of us and treated all of us extremely well, took us to a lot of important Heritage places and industries educating us and guiding us all the way. We found China a very clean place compared to many places we have visited and people of China very friendly. Both Frank and Jeff are very nice down-to-earth type jovial persons and very friendly. They have a very thorough knowledge of the glorious history and the progressive development of China and also well informed regarding the rest of the world too. Anyone doing a tour with them would want to come back to China again and wish to ask for their service. They do make Peoples Republic of China and Chinapac proud and we sincerely wish them the Very Best. We have already recommended Chinapac to some of our friends who are planning to visit China next year. Dear Fiona, thank you very much for a nicely organized tour and an excellent choice of the locations, hotels, restaurants and transport services and most important very nice Tour Guides. We all left China as a very happy lot, in good health with promises to come back. We would certainly chose Chinapac for our future tours and continue recommending to others. We wish Chinapac the very best and continuity of excellent service, keep up the good work. Sincerely yours,

She walked through the Air Canada lineup with us, made sure our luggage was through and we had our boarding passes, then walked around Terminal 3 with us before bidding us farewell. We discussed a Silk Road Tour with her and may at some time want to do that with Stella as our guide. Both Stella and the driver were extremely professional, yet we left them feeling we'd made friends. That was the third time I'd dealt with Chinapac and it was definitely the best. We met friends from the Princess Cruise at Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. All were with huge groups and were envious of us with our personalized tour. Will talk to you later about the trip next year to Asia. Regards,

My husband and I completed our trip in early June. We did the 22 day Ultimate Yangtze tour followed by the 4 day extension to Hong Kong. We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip. It was very well organized. The local guides in every city were excellent, as were our hotels, the cruiseship accommodations on the Yangtze River and our meals throughout the trip. There was SO much food! We had a "private" tour as it was just the two of us on our tour and that wound up being a fabulous experience - being able to travel with our own guide and driver everywhere. I also wish to add that the drivers were excellent everywhere. It is hard to say what our favourite part of the trip was as there were so many highlights, but to name a few: seeing the Forbidden City, walking on the Great Wall, seeing the Terra-cotta warriors, the cruise along the Li River, cruising through the Three Gorges on the Yangtze, the acrobatic show in Shanghai. . . I could go on. There were so many fabulous places we went and things we did. We would definitely recommend your tour company to anyone we know who is interested in traveling to this part of the world. Thank you for making this an extremely memorable trip for us.

Dear Michael, My husband and I were part of a group of 14 people (Tour Code 0623WAS09) from Maryland visiting China and Hong Kong from 06/23 to 07/07/09. I would like to thank our National Tour Guide, Mr. Edward Xue for making our trip in China so enjoyable and smooth. He is one of the best and most responsible tour guides I have encountered during our many years of travel. He was always helpful, patient, tactful and attentive to everyone of us. Edward is an outstanding tour guide primarily due to his attention to details and excellent interpersonal skills. After we left China , our group went to Hong Kong . We all missed Edward very much. Edward is an asset to ChinaPac Tours. I would highly recommend him. Sincerely,

XIE, XIE, I just wanted to let you know that my two clients returned home on Sunday. I have spoken to both of them and they really enjoyed their personal pre-cruise trip to Xian that Chinapac arranged: 1. the pick-up at the hotel went as scheduled 2. the terra cotta warriors were absolutely amazing and it is something that they both have wanted to see for years 3. they enjoyed the noodle show at the restaurant and commented that the lunch was delicious 4. being the first time in Asia, they were excited to see the rickshaws and time did permit for them to take a short rickshaw ride while at the City Wall 5. their tour guide, Kevin, was excellent 6.everything went smoothly. My compliments to you and everyone at Chinapac who were involved in the organization of the pre-cruise tour. Of course, having been in China with Jenny, I did not hesitate to recommend Chinapac and will certainly do so in the future. They loved the trip and hope to return to China again! My clients commented that they took many, many photos, which I can certainly understand. Again, XIE, XIE to all of you.

On behalf of the Travel Program I would like to thank you for offering such a fantastic opportunity for our students. The great pricing enabled many students to participate, learn about your product, and experience China. You and Suzie were both outstanding in organizing the details, and very helpful with all of my questions and queries. The tour itself was fast paced and a great learning experience. From start to finish, it was very well organized, and allowed us to maximize our time and see as much of China as possible. We also appreciated having Edward as our National Guide. His experience, professionalism, and expertise were outstanding and he took exceptional care of his “girls”. The local guides were knowledgeable and each added their own personal touch, which made the experience even more valuable. Although we were not the usual demographic for this type of tour, they made sure that the students were able to experience everything they wanted to, including a trip to the local karaoke bar. I know the students benefited greatly from this experience, and I am certain that they will make good use of it when they begin their careers. Thank you for your support of our students and our program. I look forward to working with you again in the future.

I would like to say thank you to you and your company for making our school trip to China a memorable one. As my first trip out of the country, it is one I will never forget and your company made it possible. The tour guides chosen for each city helped with the experience greatly and allowed us to see as much of China as possible in the short 12 days we had there. The bus drivers were also amazing. Being able to drive in the traffic in China which scared me as it was so different from Canada. Lastly, our main tour guide Edward was an amazing person to choose to help us in China. He made our trip that much more enjoyable and fun to be on. So I would like to thank you for choosing him as I would love to be able to have him as a tour guide if I ever visit China again. Thank you once again for helping make our trip an enjoyable experience that I will never forget.

I would like to thank you for organizing our group’s trip to China. It was truly an eye-opening experience that I’m sure none of us will ever forget. Being students of travel, it is of great importance to us to be able to see and become familiar with places around the world and ChinaPac has helped a lot with that. The local guides were knowledgeable and helpful and were often teaching us some of the language and history that we loved to hear about. Everything we did on the tours, both the activities on the itinerary and the optional ones, contributed to the amazing adventure I had the pleasure of experiencing with your awesome guides and some very good friends of mine. I felt that the trip was organized well and that although there was a lot to see, I could have taken tours and learned about China throughout the night instead of sleeping. Thank you again for putting together a wonderful team of people to corral a sometimes unruly group of young women. We appreciate it more than you know.

A quick note to say how much Terri and I enjoyed the entire China experience provided through our ChinaPac excursion. Alex Feng as our resident guide was most efficient in his care and concern of our 14 member group and not a hitch was to be found in any of our travel or accommodation arrangements. Alex proved to be a very capable and entertaining member of our troop. We were amazed by both the cultural aspects of the journey and the openness of the people towards our presence . Clearly the China of today is ready for active tourism and offers the visitors an exclusive view into the complex nature of the country. The food supply was more than adequate and did not offend any of our Canadian taste buds, Larger glasses for beverages did seem to be however a common request. All in all, a most rewarding couple of weeks and a photographer's heaven. Enclosed is the China Pac promo spontaneously provided at the Tang Dynasty Show - a very nice touch. (See attached file: China 1 524.jpg) (See attached file: China 1 627.avi) Congratulations on your program. We hope to return for other tours in the future. Regards,

We are back from our wonderful CME trip to China and would like to comment on our extra special guide Alex, who was in charge of bus A. Alex is the very best guide we have ever encountered. He is warm, personable, and extremely caring about all the individuals he was responsible for. Without him to take such wonderful care of us, the trip would not have been as memorable. He is also very knowledgeable and charismatic. Please pass this on to him and tell him thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Sincerely,

Hello, We had the privilege of having Alex as our guide from March 31st to April 19th,2009 during our CME at SEA excursion to China. My wife and I agree that he looked after us with enthusiasm, kindness and patience over an extended period of time,as well as being extremely knowledgeable and humorous as well. He is a very kind ,considerate person, who especially respected the elderly that travelled with us as they required more attention. We always felt very confident and safe under his guidance and he always kept the group together especially with the numerous washroom breaks! In summary, we feel he was an exceptional leader of our group and any future travelers should consider themselves fortunate to have him as a guide. Sincerely

We had a wonderful time touring your beautiful country during the first 2 weeks of April travelling with CME at Sea. The national tour guides from your company were excellent. On our bus we were particularly fortunate to have Alex as our national tour guide. He was the best tour guide I have ever had. He was quite personable, very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. He took excellent care of us and always had situations well organized and well controlled. We trusted his good judgement implicitly and were very happy to have him assuring our tour of China was the best possible in all aspects. Thank you. Yours sincerely,

Greetings from Margaret and Roland( the wheelchair guy with sanjeys tour) from Canada. This letter comes a little bit late, but we both have been battling a flu and colds or the past few weeks and we are just getting back into our normal routine.Margaret and I want to thank you for the way you and your associates managed the trip to China. You thought af every little detail and there were no slipups. Everything went 100%! You should be very proud of the way you and your coworkers were arranging every little detail. We were on bus A and cannot give enough praise to Alex how he was looking after everybody and especially after Margaret and myself. We both cannot praise him high enough. He really made the trip a wonderful and worryless experience for both of us.He has such a thorough knowledge of his own city as well as the whole country and can also explain everything, like history, people, development, etc., that the trip with him was quite a learning experience and we learned to love your country and admired its progress. Make sure you keep him with your company, I am positive he will always be a great assett for your team. This goes also for Tony, whose help and guidance we will not forget. With best regards and fond memories and again thank you

Dear Otis! I also would like to thank you for letting me participate in you China Fam. I really enjoyed myself and must say, this was the best organized trip I have ever been on. My clients could not belief how well they were looked after and what beautiful hotels they had the pleasure to stay in. All the tours were well organized, accept for the local guide in Xian. She walked way to fast and did not make sure the group could follow. Therefore, my clients never got to hear any of her explanations and I had to make sure, they were not left behind. You probable heard the same comments from others on this trip. I did mention to David, that this lady was less than desirable. David on the other hand went on and above his duty to ensure our well-being and happiness. He is very knowledgeable and fun. Dropping the banner at the Dynasty show- Welcome Chinapac Canada was a very special touch. Thank you! The food was excellent and most of the time they made sure it was not to spicy for our "western stomach". The Yangtze River Cruise was excellent and the staff very accommodating and professional. I'm sure a high quality and well organized trip like ours, would be enjoyed even by the most demanding client. Thank you again Otis, for showing us a China we did not know and the excellent product your company has. Best regards,

Hi Jacquie- I want to thank you for arranging the most fabulous trip I've ever had! Heather and I went to China with high expectations, and thanks to you and ChinaPac, our guides and drivers, and the friendly people in China, those expectations were surpassed in every way! I think you are an excellent travel agent, and if anyone I know is trying to book a trip to China, I will send them to you. I want to especially commend the wonderful guides we had during our trip. We had some guides for just a short time. They were so helpful to us and very pleasant. They are: Paul (Chongqing), Allen (Yichang), and Selena (Lijiang.) The four guides we had for longer periods of time were excellent in every way. They were professional, informative, attentive, and good company. They are Brian Zhu (Shanghai), Coco Wang (Chengdu), Joanne Ying (Guilin), and Tony (Ming) Wang (Beijing). I have to say a special word for our guide Verena (Taiyuan and Datong). We were caught in a traffic jam on the way to the train station on the morning we were to leave for Beijing, and she did everything possible to get us to the train on time, and we made it with 10 minutes to spare! Heather and I both felt Verena went above and beyond to make sure we caught that train. I want to especially commend her for that. There were four drivers who were not only kind and friendly to us, but they drove in a safe and cautious manner, which we appreciated. They are Mr. Liu (Chengdu), our driver in Guilin, but I don't know his name, Yang Xu (Taiyuan), and Mr. Zhang (Beijing). I have emailed our guide in Guilin asking for the driver's name, and I can send that to you when I get it. If there is anyway you can contact these people's companies or bosses in China to pass on my comments about them, I would appreciate it. If not, I just want you to know what a high level of service we had on this trip. We had very good seats to everything we went to, and GREAT seats to the Changing Faces Opera in Chengdu - front row, center! The food was fantastic, one great meal after the next. We saw and did everything we had hoped to and more. Please forward this email to your own manager, Jacquie, because I do want you to be recognized for the incredible job you did for us. Thank you again for everything-

Hi Jacqueline, I can't believe it that after two years of planning my China trip is now memories. I wanted to let you know that this has been the most fantastic trip I have been on. You did a superb job of arranging all our activities, accommodation, etc. Also the guides were so extremely great. Most of them went above and beyond their role in making our visit the best. Again, the arrangements you made could have not been better and I thank you very much for all that you and your company did. Yours truly,

Hi Otis, Did we have a trip of a lifetime! If I had to rate it on a scale of one to ten, I would say nine in that nothing is 100%. We had excellent guides, especially David and Jeff. Fengdu and Chongqing were excellent tours. I forget the lady’s name in Xian, my only complaint about her is that I couldn’t hear her at times. I would not have minded spending a little more time walking around the zoo as we only saw the pandas but I believe there were other animals to be seen as well and the park like setting was beautiful. Our hotel rooms were more like suites – they were excellent! The vendors were very aggressive but we were warned and after a while you learned how to handle the situation. The cruise I enjoyed – the service was excellent. I wanted to exchange money and when I went down I stopped to look for reception and at once Terry came up to me and asked if there was something he could help me with. I told him and he said the cashier was on a half hour break and could I come back but then asked for my cabin number and he would phone me when she was available. It wasn’t fifteen minutes later when the cashier was at my cabin door and exchanged the money for me. The scenery along the Yangtze River and the Three Gorges is breathtaking! Travelling the locks was interesting in that it was like the Panama Canal on a smaller scale and you were therefore more conscious of the effects taking place and could appreciate the work and skills required to acquire this great engineering feat. The trip on Shennong Stream was most enjoyable, it felt so peaceful and our guide had a beautiful singing voice – the song she and the captain sang was so beautiful and she also sang solo. I loved Xian, the city wall, the Terra Cotta Warriors sure exceeded my expectations. The Great Wall was a wonderful experience – just think of all the work that went into creating those walls! The shows were great and visiting the silk, carpet, jade and pearl factories was interesting. Beijing and Shanghai are both big bustling cities. I enjoyed the time spent at the Summer Palace and on the Dragon boat. The only day I felt was really long and wished you could break it up was the visit to Tin An Men Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. I appreciated the experience of one night on the train although it was hot at first before the air conditioning was turned on. We also had a very nice group of people travelling with us and I think we all enjoyed each others company. Thank you Otis for your friendship, company and the gift you and David gave us all. I will certainly be promoting a tour of China through Chinapac.

Dear Mr. Ashby I am writing to tell you of my very positive experience in booking an FIT with Chinapac for my client and to commend your company, and in particular, two of your employees: Mr Michael Cheng and Ms Vinh Le La.My client wanted to visit Tibet on short notice and with a very limited window of opportunity for his travel. My first contact at Chinapac was with Michael. I found him to be very efficient and informative. After the initial quote, he left to go on vacation and gave the file to his colleague, Vinh Le La. Vinh is truly remarkable! She worked long and hard on this file and was able to find the flights, accommodations, and transfers needed even though the itinerary and timelines were challenging. She kept in constant contact with our office and it was evident that she was committed to successfully building the right package for our mutual client. On behalf of my client and our agency, thank you to Chinapac for your excellent service on this file. I look forward to working with you again in the future! Sincerely

Dear Otis, Now that I’ve had a chance to catch up on my sleep and organize my pictures, I would like to pass on a few comments about our Chinapac Tour: General Comments • Extremely interesting and varied (no chance to get bored), with a variety of geographic locations, scenery, historic sites, modern wonders, cultural presentations, and modes of transportation • Physically challenging at times (steps and hills); not recommended for anyone who has difficulty walking or climbing (promotional information should spell this out; perhaps a less strenuous itinerary could be devised for people who need it.) • Excellent guides (national and local), with a good command of English. I enjoyed the insights into life in China today that the guides provided, along with historical and geographic information. I enjoyed Narional Guide David’s sense of humour. I also appreciated the care and concern shown by David and our local guide in Chong Qing the day I experienced a mild stomach upset. • Good accommodations overall and on the East King. The Marriott in Beijing was outstanding! A good way to end our trip. • Good food overall: ship’s food was very good; restaurants were good, but I found the meals very much the same after awhile; I enjoyed the slight variation in the food at the restaurant near the Great Wall. The Peking Duck meal was an interesting and educational experience. I missed a meal in Xian due to illness, but I enjoyed the beautiful roof garden while others ate inside at the restaurant. Baggage Handling I very much appreciated the fact that our checked luggage was looked after during our stay in China by our National guide and drivers. I was very happy that we did not have to struggle with it. Bus Transportation The buses were clean and the drivers good and very courteous. (Buses today do not provide much leg room; the same is true of most airplanes. But this is universal and not unique to buses in China.) Entertainment • I enjoyed the acrobatic show, the traditional Chinese dances show, and the entertainment by the crew aboard ship. • I found the Kung Fu show to be a bit long and the seats uncomfortable, but this show would be extremely appealing to a young crowd. Demonstrations & presentations; shopping opportunities • I enjoyed the various opportunities to learn about the Chinese language, the production of silk and silk rugs, other Chinese hand crafts, Chinese art and calligraphy. • I also enjoyed our various shopping opportunities on the ship, in the various factories, and at the market building on the last day in Beijing. (Timing was excellent for this last-day shopping fling, as some of us needed to buy extra luggage.) Thank you for your presence on the trip, and please thank Chinapac for providing this wonderful opportunity to Travel Agents and their companions. Sincerely,
Elaine B Tillsonburg, ON Canada

HI Otis: Thank you for forwarding the photos (Great Wall & cultural show). What a wonderful time we all had. This was my first FAM trip so I really did not know what to expect. I have been on other agency hosted tours so I know how they work and I guess that I gauged my expectations on those. What I found was a very superior tour. The organization and timeliness of the entire trip were exemplary. No want left unattended to; no questions left unanswered. The local guides were excellent imparting their knowledge willingly and most with greats amounts of humour. And the food..................well, what can I say. I have never seen so many dishes before on (any) table. And delicious - each and every one. And..........at EVERY meal. The cultural events: Perfection personified. I feel so very fortunate to have been able to attend this FAM and experience China with the ChinaPac group. I will have have no difficulty Otis in selling ChinaPac tours to my clients. In my opinion, it is the very best value per dollar on the Asian market. And...............the best guide of all was David. From beginning to end, he saw to our every needs, be it a massage appointment, or an extra silk duvet wanted. He kept things moving at all times - even when he (and we) were tired. We, my small group and I, had the distinct priviledge of meeting his wife and daughter. I did not catch his wife's name but his daughter's name is Apple. And what a cutie she is. They all came to the hotel on the Sunday to get us safely in to the van, our luggage organized, etc. Best Regards,

Otis, hope your extra day in Beijing was productive for you and you had a good flight home. As you requested Tom and I are pleased to provide you some feedback on the recent Chinapac fam. Hotels - Certainly the Xian and Beijing hotels were excellent. The Shanghai hotel was certainly adequate but maybe not for a 5 star tour ( We knew this wasn't an exclusively a 5 star tour). The breakfasts were all excellent. River Cruise - We enjoyed it very much. The itinerary and tours were excellent as was the staff and food. In North American terms it may not qualify as a 5 star but then again the star system is not consistent throughout the world. Nonetheless, it was quite satisfactory. Guides - David was wonderful and would be more than satisfactory for all clients. Local guides were also all satisfactory although we would rank them Jack, Molly and Xing as #1,2,3 Tours - scheduled tours were well thought out and conducted. Food - We never thought that any meal was unacceptable but there was some inconsistency in quality although we know absolute consistency is not possible. It was obvious in what restaurants the staff were engaged and others that were not. Coming from North America the variety of dishes may not seem sufficient. We suspect, however, from a Chinese perspective, there was lots of variety. Train - We enjoyed it but some clients might not be inclined do it. General Comments - We thoroughly enjoyed our Chinapac trip to China. Your partnership withyour local offices seems to ensure a quality program. This tour was indeed a "highlights" tour as we saw many of the most notable Chinese tourist attractions. It was a great introduction to China. The all inclusive nature with all meals and admissions included is a big plus. All in all the Chinapac tour was a very positive and professional experience that causes us to want more.

Dear Jacqueline I am just back from my trip to Shanghai. It was a wonderful experience thanks to the guide, Brian, and the driver. Brian went out of his way to accommodate my needs, particularly in regards to my medical diet. He arranged meals each day at hotels and restaurants for me. I was very ill eating at the conference prior to meeting with Brian and the guide. Once I was traveling with them both in Shanghai and then outside Shanghai and eating well, I was all better. I had thought I might just have to fly home early if I hadn't arranged the tours with Brian and the driver and everything changed!! Not only was Brian so helpful about the diet, he was also extremely well informed about anything I asked him about China and the cities we were traveling through. He was a very friendly and thoughtful person. I couldn't have had better. I wish to thank him very much!! The drive was a very safe conscientious driver and I felt comfortable and in very good hands in all of the heavy traffic!! I wish to thank him also!! And I wish to thank you for all your help in planning such a wonderful trip!!

Hi Jackie Thorne and I want to thank you so much for helping us plan our independent travel trip to China in March. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the year of our 40th anniversary. All of our guides for Shanghai, Kunming, Dali, Hangzhou, Huangshan Mountain and, especially Anna in Lijiang, were excellent. We would certainly recommend travel to the Yunnan province. For the entire week the weather was sunny and a pleasant 25 degrees celcius. The countryside is beautiful and the ethnic minority people are very friendly. Our accommodation at the Regent Hotel in Dali was breathtaking. The "room" was a bedroom with a very large modern bathroom and sitting room attached -- teak floors and beautiful antiques. Our king-sized bed was covered in a large heart of rose petals and a huge bouquet of flowers on the pillows - Wow! The Zen Garden Lion Hill Hotel, in the ancient city of Lijiang, is special. It's up on a hill beside a temple. Sitting outside our room on the covered deck we could watch the sun rise over the rooftops of buildings in the ancient city. With modern rooms and bathrooms, a pond, bridge and multilevels built into the hillside, this 16 room hotel definitely lives up to its name. Plus, it is only a quick ten minute walk to the centre of the ancient town. Our travels to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the Jade Dragon Mountain, the surrounding villages and village homes were highlights. Jackie, thank you again for getting us tickets to the show, "Impressions Lijiang" , a spectacular vision of 300 ethnic minority actors in a large open natural theatre at 3300 metres, displaying their wonderful costumes, ethnic heritage and horsemanship. Hangzhou and Huangshan Mountain were equally beautiful and even though it rained in Hangzhou and snowed on Huangshan Mountain, Thorne got some terrific pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening show "Impressions Westlake". With your help we planned and had a wonderful trip. I look forward to working with you again soon to plan our next independent travel in Asia. Best wishes

Hello, Otis. Thank you for the opportunity to join the recent Chinapac FAM. It was amazing! As we begin to tell folks about all the things we did...all the things we saw...all the food we ate....all the things we learned....we are surprised to really realize how much was packed into those 11 days. You asked for our comments, so here are mine, beginning with the positive. Jim will send his own comments separately. Timing • this is certainly a good time to visit China. Crowds of tourists were lighter than anticipated - not so good for them, but nice for us. Personnel • the availability of a National Guide was priceless - freeing us from moving our own luggage, obtaining our boarding passes where possible, negotiating access to hotels. For our age group, those are wonderful services, and I think the trip would have been much less pleasant without them. • David himself was great . He is knowledgeable, experienced, personable, hard-working. His command of English is good. His willingness to extend himself for individuals was impressive; ex., organizing the tailors in Beijing. And we enjoyed his language lessons, right down to his ma ma ma tongue-twister • Similarly for the local guides. To my mind, the Chinapac system seems well-organized and well-staffed. I would not hesitate to book my clients with Chinapac, and will share that with my colleagues. Itinerary • I liked it, as it featured everything I personally wanted to experience, and the key sites my clients ask about - Yangtze River & Dam, Terra Cotta Warriors, Great Wall • And I was unexpectedly impressed at the richness of experience we were exposed to as we moved between those highlights - the parks, the country-side, observation of the local lifestyles. Granted, it included the good, the bad, and the ugly, but those are all rich and true experiences. Would I do it again, myself? Absolutely, with a few modifications. Will I encourage my clients to make a similar trip? Absolutely, with some clear expectations of the pros and cons. Please keep me advised of upcoming promotions, etc. Best regards..and thank you again.

Hello Jenny, I thought I will email you to give you a feedback on this trip I took with Graham through Chinapac . We had a wonderful and interesting time sight- seeing , shopping , watching Impression West Lake , having suits made ……….. A lot of that good experience was from the meticulous organization and going the extra mile by your assigned China guides especially Edward and Barbara. They were there helping, guiding and still smiling sometimes dealing with difficult and trying North American individual! These fine people are the real assets for your company. I have done many tours and 58 cruises all over the world to know the difference. I always believe in giving positive and negative feedback to enhance on future services. So far I have nothing bad to say especially when the service is great and they are still trying so hard. Best regards,

Jackie, thank you very much for the wonderful team of Susan and Mr. Tang. My son Nicholas and I had an amazing visit to Beijing. The city made a wonderful impression on Nicholas. He was especially pleased to see the Great Wall but what he remembers most of all is how friendly the Beijing citizens were. Hello We, Peggy, Shae and myself returned a week to-day from China. I was chosen to e-mail you and let you know how much we enjoyed the tour. Our flights with Air China, although very long in length went well. The personnel at the check-in counter in Vancouver and again in Beijing were most accommodating in choosing our seating arrangements. We were met at each of our stops by the guide for that city. The vans used, the drivers and the guides were all top-notch. We appreciated having the opportunity to experience different modes of travel within China, ie. express train from Suzhou to Hangzhou, domestic flight from Hangzhou to Xian and overnight sleeper train from Xian to Beijing. The buffet breakfasts in all the hotels were wonderful with lots of choice. Except for a couple of meals in Suzhou, which were just o.k., the lunches and dinners were excellent. The quality and choices of food surpassed my expectations. I was recalling the food we'd had when I last visited China, 9 years ago. We appreciated the ease with which we could book our tour with you - using e-mails, phone and a couple of mailings. You very promptly answered all our questions whenever we contacted you. We would certainly recommend your company to anyone travelling in the areas of the world where you sponsor tours. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to travel with you again. Thanks, Elizabeth

Hi Bess, I would like to thank you for your knowledge and patience in helping us plan and book our trip to China. Thanks also to Jenny for seeing us off at the airport in Vancouver and to Jacqueline for taking the time to visit and check on us in Shanghai and Beijing. From start to finish Chinapc provided the very best in service and value for an amazing, unforgettable trip to China. Before leaving for China I was apprehensive about the food, accommodation and language barrier. All exceeded my expectations by far. Chinpac selected the best guides, best transportation, best restaurants and modern 4 - 5* accommodation. Everything was well planned and organized from the morning wake up call to interesting itineraries, historic sights, cultural events and shows. Yet, there was still flexibility in our schedule. There were optional shows, tours, excursions, reflexology treatments and shopping. Those who chose not to participate, could go shopping, back to the hotel or stay on the bus and rest. Everyone was accommodated. The weather, scenery and people were perfect. Although the Great Wall was the highlight of the trip for me, I was impressed by the Shanghai skyline, canals of Suzhou, tea from Hangzhou, Terracotta warriors, and local restaurant in Xian, overnight train to Beijing and the Temple of Heaven, Pandas and Hutong tour in Beijing. Our national guide, Alex Feng was the best! He did an outstanding job in taking care of us and explaining the history and culture of China. His great sense of humor made our journey even more enjoyable. Some of us have kept in contact after the trip to share photos and experiences, thanks to Alex, who at our request, emailed all of us with contact information. I will definitely recommend Chinapac to my clients and will look into exploring another destination with Chinapac for myself.

A note of thanks for all your help with our recent China trip. Both Don and I enjoyed our experience immensely. We were not only impressed by the amazing sites that we visited but also by the warmth and hospitality of the Chinese people. Our travel arrangements were handled with great efficiency and we found the level of hotel accommodation and meals to be above what we had anticipated. We also can not say enough about our tour leader, Alex. He managed to handle our diverse group with charm and just the right touch of humour and took care of all the logistics of our trip with great aplomb. The special touch of arranging a birthday cake for me was most appreciated. Please send along huge kudos to him from the the both of us and tell him we miss being directed everywhere by him.:-) It was a pleasure meeting you in both Shanghai and Beijing and I will most definitely do my best to promote your wonderful homeland within the coming months. Hello Jacqueline... I am writing this letter, to thank you so much for the most wonderful Guided tour that you arranged, both My Wife and I enjoyed it from the start to the finish. The Tour Guide Bei Zhang. was the most helpful person I have ever met, if it was not for her, we would not know what to do, she took care of everything. And we never worried about anything, the local tour guides were also very good and gave us all the information about the local cities and the historic places. The Yangtze river cruise was excellent, My wife thought it was so relaxing. The only regret i had...was that it ended so soon, I could have stayed to see more, and I found that the cities there were very clean, and the people very friendly, and Happy, Thanks once again. Ni hao! Jackie. Xie Xie for planning the trip for us, everything was excellent. Our national guide Bei (Grace) Zhong met us at the airport in Shanghai and she was fantastic. She took care of everything for us. She worked very long hours and followed us the entire trip. She anticipated every need that we might have and arranged the schedule accordingly. The city guides were equally good and gave us great information about their cities. The accommodation was very good and all of the meals were excellent. Everything was served very well and the quality of food was excellent. When we were starting to tire of chinese food Grace arranged for us to have pizza and spaghetti. All of the buses were first class, large and airconditioned. They took us everywhere and waited for us. The drivers were all very professional and we all felt very relaxed in the chaos of china traffic. We enjoyed meeting many local people who tried to speak English. They were friendly and very interested in our group and often took our pictures. The guide told us that many of them have never seen westerners before. We had a nice side trip to a Houton in a rickshaw in Beijing and enjoyed meeting a local couple in their home. We managed to get to the Olympic site and saw the facilities from a distance. The pollution and traffic were very bad as it was the national holiday. We all have a different feeling about China now and were impressed that they are trying to tackle the pollution problems they have. The country is very beautiful and clean which we did not expect. Thanks again, Lynn

I had the good fortune to travel to China in April, 2008. In advance, I had booked a 3 day private tour through Chinapac. We had an unbelievable experience. The tour guide and driver, Wayway and Tom, were more than we could have hoped for. We had exceptional service, picked up promptly, and were given totally awesome tours of Tianamen Square, the Imperial Palace, the Jade Store, the Silk Store, the Great Wall (they don't call it great for nothing!), the Summer palace, the Temple of Heaven, and more. The vehicle was in pristine condition. The dinners provided were top quality, from the food, the individual service, I cannot say enough. Our tour guide totally looked after us, buying all our admission tickets, her English was superb, and she had a very educated knowledge of China, answering all our questions thoroughly, and we had many. She came to our Hotel each morning bringing us bottled water, and even fresh pears ! We truly loved Wayway. We are going again next year, only now there will be 4 of us, not 2. I never realized how beautiful a country China was. Chinapac did an amazing job, even looking after acquiring our entrance Visa for us. You will no doubt, get our business over and over again. I wish to personally thank Jacqueline Jing from Chinapac, as well as Wayway and Tom, our tour guide and driver. Thank you Chinapac for an unforgettable holiday !

It was lovely talking to you the other day about my recent trip. As promised I am sending you an email with my comments. When we were deciding which tour to take in China we read the reviews on Chinapac various tours and the one that stood out the most was Historic China. We felt after reading it this was the tour for us and went expecting a very nice vacation. Boy were we wrong instead it was an amazing -fabulous - fantastic holiday from beginning to end. This was our first visit to China and we will be going back. Our guide Karen in Beijing is a beautiful person and her knowledge was outstanding she gave us an insight to China and the people that wewill always remember. Next was our guide Cat in Jinan, Mt Tai and Qufu she was excellent her knowledge was superior and we appreciated the way she made sure we were always safe and comfortable. Then came our guide Pudding in Hangzhou who was a delight and attended to every detail with glee and joy. Kitty was our guide in Suzhou for 2 days we felt at the end we knew her for days she was a fountain of knowledge. On our 3rd day in Suzhou we had Angie she is a breath of fresh air she had an amazing love for her country and its history which she shared with us all the way to Shanghai. She handed us over to Jason who knew his Shanghai extremely well and went out of his way to make sure we had a good visit. Of course the drivers were equally as good their driving skills are to be admired. I mention all the guides because they have the responsibility to make sure we the visitors enjoy their Country they all deserve a big WOW I would highly recommend a private tour we felt like royalty - picked up at our hotels by our private driver and guide. The food was excellent the service always perfect. Hotels were everything one would expect and find in North America and in some cases even better. The trains were an experience not to be forgotten – beautiful carriages - clean bathrooms – fast - on time and the overnight from Jinan to Hangzhou was the highlight of our train trips – before we boarded the train our guide Cat took us to her local Supermarket to purchase our dinner to eat on the train What a feast we had enough to feed us for days. My sincere thanks to Bess who advised me on every little detail I asked her and there were lots she was prompt with her replies and always Cheerful. Chinapac is an amazing Tour Operator. I met a few people on our trip that was booked thru you and all had the same thing to say (and they did not know I was a travel agent) I would like to thank Chinapac for giving me the opportunity to experience the most wonderful vacation of my life and I hope to be able to return the thanks by sending many clients your way in the future.

Last October, I had the pleasure of experiencing Chinapac's 22 day Ultimate Yangtze tour. This was my first trip to China and I am pleased to report that I was very impressed by many aspects of the tour. It was extremely well organized, with timely travel arrangements, a top-notch national guide, and numerous interesting local guides. The breadth of the tour was impressive, with it's variety of natural, historical, cultural and modern sites, shown through an equally impressive variety of transportion modes. I felt this gave the tour exceptional value. In particular, I enjoyed the boat cruises and train trips as they offered unparalleled views and valuable insight to the expansive areas comprising rural China. I came away from this 3 week journey with 1,000 photos and short videos, all treasured memories of a very memorable trip! I would like to commend our national tour guide, Edward Xue, for his exceptional service. Edward's knowledge and dedication revealed true professionalism. I appreciated his open and friendly manner, always ready to assist in any way possible. Edward made the difference between a good trip and a GREAT trip! Thank you, Edward! The Ultimate Yangtze tour was the trip of a lifetime for me! I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Best regards

Hello Bess: We wanted to let you know that our experience in China was exceptional. Everything ran very smoothly. Our luggage was where it was supposed to be , when it was supposed to be. This had been one of my concerns which was proved unfounded. The food arrangements were very good; with an North American style breakfast followed by lunch and dinner of Chinese food worked out exceedingly well. The restaurants where we were taken were pleasant and the staff very helpful. They worked hard to make us happy. The accommodations were quite good, always clean and comfortable. All of the guides on our tour were excellent. They each brought a bounty of information, all were resourceful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Angel was particularly delightful. We want to commend Kevin Zhao particularly. He was with us throughout the trip and added a dimension of both friendship and security which made the whole experience so much better. You knew when Kevin was there that everything was under control and everyone accounted for. He is obviously very intelligent and has a great sense of humour. All we can do is wish him well. We would be delighted to have him visit if he should ever have the opportunity of exploring our area of Canada. Thank you for an amazing trip. Yours truly,

My husband, Maurice Westbrook and I went on your Deluxe Yangtze Experience tour May 2nd. I just wanted to let you know that we, and the few friends who joined us on the tour, enjoyed the experience very much. It was extremely well organized, so we saw and did as much as possible in the time available. The demonstrations at the factories were informative and interesting, although the prices were not as good as elsewhere. The shows were spectacular to watch. It was good to have knowledgeable local guides and a driver at our disposal. We were especially impressed with how competent and friendly our tour manager, John was. He took care of all the countless details so our holiday went smoothly. He made sure no one got lost or left behind and even called us in our room when we were late for meals. It took a lot of patience to wait for those of us who are indecicive while shopping. He spent quite a lot of time helping my husband to get listed with British Airways in order to return to London instead of Vancouver. John was even going to send the local Beijing guide to the airport at the crack of dawn with my husband and John and Irene Jewson to faciilitate their departure, until we insisted it wasn't necessary. He was up by 4:30 a.m. to deliver boxed breakfasts he had the hotel prepare and to take their luggage downstairs to load into the van, even though he had to check out by noon and accompany the rest of the group to the airport in the afternoon and finally take his train home later that night. Since John went above and beyond the call of duty, he should be commended. We both had upset stomachs for a few days as of the day the tour ended and Irene was sick as well, but I guess that often comes with travelling. In any case, we would recommend your tour highly.

I have recently returned from tour 0312HCXYRK07 with Chinapac International and was very impressed with the service given to the group and myself by our national guide, "Cruise". Cruise is a very caring and compassionate person who was there to help us every step along our trip. He did an excellent job in representing China and Chinapac to us. He is very knowledgeable about Chinese history and the changes that are being made as China is modernizing. More importantly, he kept us on track and made sure that all of our transitions were made smoothly. When there were any personal problems, he was very helpful in finding a solution. One member of our group was sick and he made sure that her and her husband were safely delivered to a taxi with instructions on getting back to the hotel. When we had a lot of steps to deal with, he was there to give a helping hand. In the marketplace Cruise was watching to make sure that I wasn't been cheated when I was buying some expensive tea. Cruise made a long and sometimes stressful trip very memorable. I enjoyed having him as our main guide in China and wish him a very successful future.

Thank you to Otis at Chinapac for making this group go off without a hitch. I took 24 clients on the "Beautiful China" tour and it went wonderfully. I can not say enough about our national Guide, Stephen, or the local guides Ada in Beijing, Angel in Hangzhou, john in Suzhou and Wuxi, and Charlie in Shanghai. The wealth of knowledge that they had about thier regions was amazing...what a history lesson! Any substitutions or omissions I asked for were accomodated with ease and a smile. Just a short message to thank you for planning our tour to China. It was very enjoyable and interesting. We had excellent weather as well. The national tour guide "Jack" was so very helpful and considerate of me with my knee problems. The city guides as well were very knowledgeable young people, we enjoyed and understood each one of them. Jack would always find a spot for me to sit and wait if there were steps, then he would come and check. Harry left his camera on the bus when we got to the airport, Jack immediately phoned back to the bus driver, who returned to the airport with the camera, very quickly. We thank you Susie and your staff in China, and Jack for his thoughtfulness. Harry & Edna Edmonton, AB

Right from the beginning as we were planning our trip, you were there for us helping with our bookings. Last year, we took the 8-Day Beijing tour and fell in love with China and ChinaPac and just had to go back this year. My friend and I have just returned from your 15 Day Historic China Fam tour. We cannot find the words to convey how it would be hard to top. Boy were we wrong! The tour this year left us in awe. We felt that we were being treated like royalty. How fitting in a place where emperor's once reigned. Our guides excelled with their knowledge and were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Of course the food was a culinary tour in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the train and bus, as it was wonderful to see the countryside during daylight hours. ChinaPac is definitely the only way to see China. Please convey to our guides our heartfelt thanks and appreciation, Jim our National guide and local guide for Qufu (one of my favourite places), Kana (Jinan), Mary (Mount Tai), Steven (Beijing) and Gloria (Shanghai). We are looking forward to seeing more of China and enjoying other tours that you offer and will continue to tell others about ChinaPac. Best regards, Jacquie L, Canadian Regional Airlines

As a co-coordinator of a recent trip taken by Victory Church, Atlanta (Stone Mountain), Georgia, USA with 35 travelers to Hong Kong and Beijing, I MUST inform you of the absolutely wonderful time each and every member of the group had with Mr. Winston Fan as our guide. As different shades and shapes of African Americans comprising a group of 5 Doctors, 2 Attorneys (1 Judge), many levels of Educators, Federal Government employees, real estate and other professionals; we expected the stares of wonderment and marvel at ourselves from the related natives and Winston gallantly took that in stride and ensured that our travels throughout Beijing, to the Great Wall and the many other exquisite places he took us, were very comfortable.

Just wanted to let you know that my client has just returned last week from the 24 day China Tour. She has written me a letter stating how wonderful the tour - "the China experience came up to my highest expectations - hotels and restaurants was up to the high standards as advertsied. Our group consisted of only 8 travelers and we were happy to find out that there were no short-cuts, on the contrary we were often treated with a certain exclusivity". She also stated that the food was excellent and that in the three weeks of travel never had the same dish twice, that in every city, province another flavour and presentation was added. The program and the Yangzte river trip (which was her highlight) was well covered and the guides made this experience very valuable and she felt that the people you employ were excellent and very willing to share their information on China and also their lives. Completed the above tour April 22, and would like you to pass on how excellent our guide Willy Wong was. His knowledge and the information he passed on to us was great, and he was always concerned for our welfare. He went out of his way for tickets to the Acrobatic Show, which was greatly appreciated. Suggested a foot massage and made the necessary reservations; which was fantastic!! Again thanks for a great trip. Yvonne Gerlitz

Hi Gina, Our YRQLK tour was just great! We had very good tour guides in each city and in particular: Tony in Shanghai, Beckey on the Yangtze (Regal China Cruiser) and Sally in Beijing were excellent. The good, hotels, transportation and local tour arrangements were very good too. My wife and I are very glad that ChinaPac did the March 15, 2006 tour even though there were only the four of us. We truly benefitted from the resulting cordial environment during our two weeks tour with Bob and Karen Tait who were very compatible with us. Furthermore, we are appreciative that ChinaPac accorded us the flexibility of a one week stop-over in Tokyo. It was very timely for us as we caught the peak of the Cherry Blossom Festival. We were amazed with the beauty and sheer abundance of cherry blossoms everywhere. It was fun to participate in their "Hana-Mi" celebrations. Thank you for your good service. We had a wonder time!
